The Cattaraugus County Health Department confirmed a 48th case of the coronavirus Saturday, according to a press release issued by the department.
The 48th case is a woman, who lives in the northwest quadrant of the county and is a healthcare worker at a group home, according to the press release. She developed a cough, sore throat, whole body aches and headaches. Her provider saw her on Thursday and tested her for COVID-19. A positive result came back on Friday.
The department has begun a thorough contact tracing on the individual, according to the press release.
