The Cattaraugus County Health Department confirmed a 51st case of the coronavirus Monday.
The 51st case is a man who lives in the southwest quadrant of the county, according to a press release from the county. The man experienced shortness of breath and diarrhea. He was admitted to the emergency room at WCA Hospital in Jamestown, where he was tested for COVID-19 Sunday. A COVID-19 positive result came back Monday.
The department has begun a thorough contact tracing on the individual.
There are 13 active cases of COVID-19 in Cattaraugus County.
