The Cattaraugus County Department of Health has confirmed its 37th case of the coronavirus, according to a press release issued Thursday night.

The individual is a woman living in the northwest quadrant of the county who has no significant travel history, according to the press release. On Wednesday, the woman underwent a pre-op exam, which included her being tested for COVID-19. Her COVID-19 positive result came back the same day. The woman has been asymptomatic. 

The woman is resting at home with her family, according to her press release. The department of health has begun a thorough contact tracing on the woman.
