The Cattaraugus County Health Department confirmed a 115th case of the coronavirus Tuesday.
According to a press release issued by the department, the 115th confirmed case is a male who lives in the southeast quadrant of the county. He has no significant travel history and denies having contact with a known COVID-19 positive individual. The man, who has been asymptomatic, was tested for COVID-19 on Saturday as part of a pre-op exam and received a COVID-19 positive result on Monday.
The department has begun thorough contact tracing on the man.
There are seven active COVID-19 cases in the county. To date, 104 residents have recovered, and four have died.
