The Cattaraugus County Health Department confirmed a 139th case of the coronavirus Tuesday.
According to a press release issued by the department, the latest case is a male who lives in the southwest quadrant of the county. The man developed fever, chills, body aches and headaches. He denies having significant travel history and having contact with any individuals who tested positive for COVID-19. The man was tested on Friday and received a positive test result on Monday.
The department has begun thorough contact tracing on the man.
There are five active COVID-19 cases in the county; 130 residents have recovered, and four have died.
