The Cattaraugus County Department of Health has confirmed its 28th case of the Coronavirus, according to a press release issued Thursday.
The individual is a male who lives in the southeastern part of the county, according to the release. The man has no significant travel history, but came into close contact with a known COVID-19 positive person.
The man has been asymptomatic, which means he has experienced none of the common COVID-19 symptoms, according to the release. The man was tested for COVID-19 on Tuesday because of his direct contact with a positive individual, and his COVID-19 positive result came back on Thursday.
The man is under quarantine at home with his family, according to the release. The Cattaraugus County Department of Health will monitor their symptoms closely and has begun a thorough contact tracing on the man.
