New York State's Western New York Region, which includes the Greater Olean area, is expected to begin Phase 3 of the reopening process Tuesday.
Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo made the announcement Saturday during his daily coronavirus briefing.
"Moving forward, Western New York is expected to move to Phase 3 on this Tuesday," Cuomo said. "But as usual, we have to stay smart."
Phase 3 will allow restaurants and other food services business, as well as personal care businesses to reopen under state guidelines.
