OLEAN, NY – Olean General Hospital is seeking new volunteers to help in a variety of ways at the hospital.

Volunteers, ages 14 and older, can offer as little or as much time as they’d like. Some ways volunteers help include as VanGOGH drivers, greeters, gift shop workers, emergency department liaisons, art cart helpers, compassionate companions, mailroom helpers, runners, and general office helpers.

“Volunteers are a vital part of the OGH team and we are grateful for each and every one," Crystal Kling, volunteer services coordinator, said. "They help in a wide variety of departments throughout the hospital. When people volunteer, they are helping their neighbors and community. As a volunteer, people help make a difference in the atmosphere that surrounds our patients and staff.  Each volunteer duty gives people a unique opportunity to interact with our patients and help make their time at OGH a little brighter.”

Persons seeking more information or wishing to become a hospital volunteer should contact Kling at 716-375-6119 or ckling@ogh.org.
