OLEAN, NY — The Olean School District posted a letter regarding the Coronavirus on its social media Friday.

It states: “We are monitoring situations with extreme care and caution while continuing to operate with as much normalcy as safety will allow.”

The letter also states that there is increased cleaning of classrooms and office spaces and reminds the community of people that are at risk for the virus.

It continues to say that if students who are sick or at high risk of illness should not come to any school events or volunteer for these events.

It concludes by saying the district will notify the public in the event that school needs to close and any updates will be posted to www.oleanschools.org.

This letter will go home with all students on Friday.
