PORTVILLE, NY – On Friday, in keeping with statewide measures to control the COVID-19 pandemic, Town Supervisor Tim Emley announced the closing of municipal offices until further notice.
In a posting to the Friends of Portville Facebook page, Emley said residents should leave detailed messages about business-related problems on the town clerk's phone at (716) 933-6658. He also said that if emergencies arise, persons should call him at (716) 969-1352.
He said that he had asked all municipal staff to coordinate with each other for periodic office stops for mail and phone messages and that all garage employees are home with family.
