The Cattaraugus County Department of Health confirmed four new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the county’s total to 19, according to a press release issued Saturday. 

The 16th case is a woman who lives in the southeastern part of the county, according to the release. She has no significant travel history, but came into close contact with a COVID-19 positive individual. She reported a fever, chills, a cough and lightheadedness. Her COVID-19 positive result came back on April 11.

The 17th case is a man who lives in the southeastern part of the county, according to the release. He has no significant travel history, but he came into close contact with a COVID-19 positive individual. He developed a fever, chills, a cough and shortness of breath. His COVID-19 positive result came back on April 11,

The 18th case is a man who lives in the southeastern part of the county, according to the release. The man, who has no significant travel history, came into close contact with a COVID-19 positive individual. The man developed a cough and body aches. His COVID-19 positive result came back on April 11. 

The 19th case is a woman who lives in the northwestern part of the county, according to the release. She had been sent home by her employer because she had an elevated temperature. Shortly after that, she developed congestion and headaches, so she contacted her provider, who ordered a COVID-19 test for her on April 9. Her COVID-19 positive result came back on April 11.

According to the release, all four patients are resting at home under mandatory quarantine with their families. The Cattaraugus County Department of Health will monitor their conditions closely and has begun a thorough contact tracing on the individuals.
