BELMONT, NY — An Allegany County grand jury indicted William Larson Jr., 17, on Feb. 5 on two counts of second-degree murder, third-degree arson, tampering with evidence, and two counts of concealing the bodies, according to Thomas Fuoco, the Allegany County district attorney who is handling the case.
The next court date is set for Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. That will be when Larson enters a plea, Fuoco explained.
Larson was arrested after a manhunt that took place on Nov. 21, the day the bodies of his father William Larson, 67, and his mother Lisa Larson, 50, were discovered in a house fire. The autopsy revealed that the fire was not the cause of death. The victims had stab wounds and gunshot wounds.
Larson's preliminary hearing took place on Nov. 26; a video of Larson admitting to shooting his father was shown.
