Allegany Woman Arrested for Illegal Gun Sale

ALLEGANY, NY – State Police arrested an Allegany woman Thursday and charged her with criminal sale of a firearm.

Police said Katherine L. Karnuth, 46, was arrested after troopers investigating an August 2018 report of missing pistol in Allegany determined Karnuth had given a pistol to another party who was not legally allowed to possess it.

Olean Man Arrested After Dispute with Neighbor

OLEAN. NY – State Police arrested Eugene A. O’Dell, 44, of Olean on Wednesday and charged him with criminal contempt and harassment.

According to police, troopers investigating a report of an incident between O’Dell and one of his neighbors discovered the neighbor had an order of protection against O’Dell.

O’Dell was arrested and arraigned in Olean Town Court.

Olean Police Seek Suspect in Connection with 7-Eleven Robbery

OLEAN, NY -- Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of Thomas J. Washington in connection with a robbery that took place Tuesday at a 7-Eleven on North Union Street.

Police said Washington is 30 years old and resides in Olean.
