Larson, 17, was arrested after a manhunt that took place after the two bodies were discovered. While authorities searched for Larson, police warned that he was armed and dangerous, causing Cuba-Rushford, Portville and Bolivar-Richburg schools to close, and Hinsdale and Olean schools to enforce lockouts.

Larson was arraigned and transported to the Erie County Youth Services Center and is being held on $50,000 cash bail/$100,000 bond.

According to police, the Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company responded to a structure fire at 8472 Courtney Hollow Road late Wednesday night and were met by Larson when they arrived. Firefighters contained a small fire at the residence. After discovering the two bodies, they contacted the New York State Police. Prior to police’s arrival, Larson fled the scene on foot, police said.
