FRANKLINVILLE, NY – State police arrested a Cuba man on stolen property and motor vehicle charges on May 1.

After investigating a report of a disabled vehicle on Cadiz Road, police determined that Jeffery J. Irvine, 37, was in possession of a stolen vehicle that had its vehicle identification number removed, police said. 

Police charged Irvine with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, third-degree criminal mischief, removing a vehicle identification number and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Irvine was released with appearance tickets for Franklinville Town Court, where he is due to appear in June.
