OLEAN, NY – The city fire department resumed its fire safety inspection program Tuesday. The program was placed on pause in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We will be implementing new procedures to address the continued issues during this pandemic,” Fire Chief Timothy Richardson wrote in a Facebook post. “During your inspection, firefighters will be limited to the amount of manpower in your business; firefighters will be required to wear masks and also maintain a 6-foot social distance.”
Individuals who have questions should call the fire department at 716-376-5687.
