POLAND, NY – An Olean man was arrested Wednesday during a traffic stop after State Police said they found him with a hypodermic needle loaded with heroin, a bag containing methamphetamine and a digital scale.

Travis Centi, 26, was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance; criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Police said state troopers stopped a vehicle, in which Centi was a passenger, for a traffic violation on Route 394.

Following his arrest, Centi was issued appearance tickets and released. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Poland Court next month. The driver of the vehicle was issued a traffic ticket.
