ST. BONAVENTURE, NY – The St. Bonaventure men’s basketball team won its fifth consecutive game of the season Saturday, defeating Gannon University, 75-50, and improving the team's record to 6-4 on the season.
Four Bonnies scored in double figures.
Sophomore guard Kyle Lofton led the way for the Bonnies, scoring 14 points and collecting 11 assists. Freshman Justin Winston followed suit as the forward scored 14 points of his own while Alejandro Vasquez scored 12 points and Jared English scored 11.
For Gannon (2-5), Benjamin Horsford scored a team-high 12 points.
Little Three Rival Niagara will visit the Reilly Center on Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. The Purple Eagles have won the last two meetings against the Bonnies.
