PARAMUS, N.J. — Bergen Community College and Jersey Mike’s Subs (305 Route 17 South, Paramus) celebrated the spirit of the season by showing gratitude for the faculty and staff who worked on-campus this semester with a complimentary luncheon featuring socially-distanced sandwiches.

Representatives from the College, including Interim President Anthony Ross, Ed.D., and Jersey Mike’s Katherine Gray, gathered six-feet apart with public safety officers, information technology staff, buildings and grounds workers and other on-campus employees Monday, Nov. 23 to break bread as part of an outdoor lunch in the newly-revamped campus quad.

The Paramus Jersey Mike’s location donated 100 sandwiches as part of the event. Though the majority of Bergen classes and operations have transitioned to a remote environment due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a rotating group of approximately 100 Bergen employees has worked on-campus to support operations.
