HACKENSACK, N.J. — A Bronx, N.Y. man has been arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault by sexual contact and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
Police arrested Francisco Rosario, 57, on the heels of a joint investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Hackensack Police Department, who, in late June, contacted the Office’s Special Victims Unit informing them of Rosario’s alleged sexual assault of a child under 13 while the man had lived in Hackensack. The investigation concluded that the assault occurred while he was living in New Jersey.
Authorities arrested Rosario, a married man and mechanic, on November 1 in Carlstadt. He was remanded to Bergen County Jail and pending a court date at the Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
