Hackensack resident arrested after investigation by Hackensack Police Narcotics

HACKENSACK- David Hamblin, a 56 year old male, was placed under arrest on Aug. 23.

Hackensack Police Narcotics Bureau, executed a court authorized search warrant after an investigation into the residence. This investigation was initiated by Det. Nart Marza after receiving complaints regarding narcotics being sold from the residence. The residence is also within 1,000 feet of the Hackensack Middle School, as well as a child care and development center according to police officials

Hamblin was processed and lodged into the Bergen County Jail.  Hamblin has an arrest history which includes distribution and possession charges.

Hamblin was charged with Distribution of Marijuana, Distribution of Marijuana within 1000 Feet of Hackensack Middle School; Possession with intent to Distribute Cocaine; Possession with intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession with intent to Distribute Cocaine within 1000 feet of Hackensack Middle School; Possession with intent to Distribute Marijuana within 1000 feet of Hackensack Middle School, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and Possession with Intent to Distribute Drug Paraphernalia.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
