HACKENSACK, NJ -- Tomorrow during school, thousands of Hackensack's public school students will attend an expansive Teen Health Fair. The fair will be held in the Main Gymnasium of Hackensack High School from 8:15am to 2:30pm.
"Last year about 2,000 Hackensack High School students attended this event and greatly benefited from the resources and community services presented" said Doris De Jesus Levy, Director of our Drop-In Center.
Dozens of agencies with services for teenagers will be in attendance, to discuss topics including Nurtition, Eating Disorders, Drugs and Aclohol, Pregnancy Prevention, and more.
"The Health Fair is solely for our student body and the goal is to encourage students to develop healthy lifestyles and effective strategies to cope with health issues and social concerns using community agencies," said De Jesus Levy.
The Drop-in-Center is funded by the NJ Department of Children and Families.
