‘Hometown Hero Night’ this Friday at Atlantic Street Park

HACKENSACK, NJ -- Atlantic Street Park will present “Hometown Hero Night” this Friday night, as part of its Main Street Live Mini Concert Series.

The free show will feature Master of Ceremonies Bob Lee of WBLS 107.5 FM and a musical performance for the Total Eclipse Band. 

Honored guests will include Rev. Gregory Jackson of Hackensack’s Mount Olive Baptist Church and Osiris “Osy” Barcenas, president of ICAL (Instituto de Cultura y Arte Latinoamericano). There will also be a $1,000 scholarship presentation by Toyota of Hackensack’s Nicholas Latino and a $500 scholarship presentation by the Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union’s Ana Suarez. 

Those attending are welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on during “Hometown Hero Night." The 90-minute show begins at 7 p.m.
