HACKENSACK, N.J. — If you're planning to go anywhere Monday, have your umbrellas handy. The last day of November will end in storms. 

According to the National Weather Service, on Monday, November 30, showers are expected before 11 a.m. in the region. Rain will follow until 2 p.m. and then a thunderstorm. Storms are expected to produce heavy rainfall. The temperature is expected to reach 63 degrees with winds that could gust as high as 32 miles per hour in the afternoon. New rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible. 

In the evening, showers are expected to continue with another thunderstorm predicted before 8 p.m. Showers are likely to follow. Temperatures will drop to 47 degrees with wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour and new precipitation amounts up to a quarter of an inch.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of showers and a high of 53 degrees. On Tuesday night, a small chance of showers is expected before 9 p.m. with temperatures dipping to 34 degrees. 

Sun is expected to peak by mid-week with a high of 44 degrees.
