Open for Business

When everything “opened up” this summer I didn’t think it would include my mouth.

But I probably should have perceived that at some point during this pandemic I would have to visit the dentist.

Over the past six months I have gotten used to moving previously outsourced services in-house. For instance, while everyone was letting their Covid freak flag fly, I mastered the ...

Cat Code 2.0

One of the many projects that I didn’t get to when the world locked down was dealing with the bins of legos that take up space in the closet.

Legos were a staple in my house not all that long ago, and to this day walking across the carpet in bare feet brings back sharp memories of their prevalence in my home.

But I hate to get rid of them. They look so neglected. Kind of like the last ...

When Your Ex Gets Remarried

I recently learned that my ex husband got engaged. After living for more than three decades with this man in my life, I must admit, hearing this news was a punch in the gut. I spent the next few weeks with a horrible feeling surrounding me, you know that uneasiness you get in your stomach after someone close passes away? My body was on edge, I shook inside, and could not shed the anxiousness of ...

Most of us set goals for ourselves, but more often than not, we do it during the beginning of the ...

Opinion: For Our Family with Food Allergies, the Pandemic Got So Much Scarier
