Movies Under the Stars Offered by HACPAC This August

HACKENSACK, NJ - In honor of the summer season, the Hackensack Performing Arts Center (HACPAC) will be offering Movies Under the Stars. 

Movies will be playing every Thursday in August. All screenings will take place at Atlantic Street Park, located at 102 State Street, at 8:30 p.m.

Elevate Hackensack Partners with City for Juneteenth Festival

HACKENSACK, NJ - Elevate Hackensack will be partnering with the city to host Hackensack’s Juneteenth Festival. The event will take place on Saturday, June 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The festival will be taking place at Carver Park, located at 294 Second Street. The event will be featuring food trucks, music, public speakers, live performances and face painting. 

Fourth of July Celebrations are Back in Hackensack

HACKENSACK, NJ - With only a few weeks away before the holiday, the City of Hackensack has announced its celebration for the Fourth of July. 

The event will be hosted at Foschini Park, located at 278 River Street. Celebrations will start at 5:00 p.m, with food trucks and family games. 

As the evening progresses, Fillet of Soul, a funk and soul band, will be performing at 7:00 p.m.

Splash Pads are Back in the City of Hackensack

HACKENSACK, NJ - The City of Hackensack is opening up splash pads right in time for summer. 

Splash pads will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. if weather permits. From the time of publishing, June 5, through June 19, splash pads will only be open on weekends. From June 14 to September 5, splash pads will be open seven days a week.

Stigma-Free Popsicle Social to Take Place June 9

HACKENSACK, NJ - The City of Hackensack’s STIGMA-FREE Committee, CBH Care, and ICAL are teaming up to host a Stigma-Free Popsicle Social on June 9.
