Hackensack’s resident improv act, Howdy Stranger, will be coming back to the Hackensack Performing Arts Center on Friday, May 17 at 8 p.m.
The first part of the show features games made popular by the TV show “Whose Line is it, Anyway?” In the second half, Howdy Stranger performs a long form set where a single audience suggestion is used to inspire a world of interrelated stories, characters and themes. Everything is made up on the spot, so anything can happen.
Howdy Stranger shows are family-friendly but parents are cautioned there may be adult themes unsuitable for young children.
Tickets for the 90-minute show are $15 and available at hacpac.org. The Hackensack Performing Arts Center is located at 102 State St.
