HACKENSACK, NJ - Batter up!
The Bergen County Historical Society will host a vintage-style baseball game Saturday at Historic New Bridge Landing in River Edge from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dressed in authentic uniforms, the Enterprise Club of New Bridge will play the Flemington Neshanocks in a double-header game, complete with 19th century rules and equipment.
Attendees should bring a blanket or chair to sit on. Dogs are welcome, however they must be on a leash.
Hot dogs, drinks, snacks and ice cream will also be available for purchase. In between games, Bergen County Historical Society members will lead short walking tours of the grounds.
