HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The Hackensack Main Street Business Alliance will celebrate 15 years of progress in Downtown Hackensack with a 15th Anniversary Gala Celebration on Thursday, November 7 at 6 p.m. at The Stony Hill Inn, 231 Polifly Road in Hackensack.
The Board of Trustees of the Main Street Business Alliance will pay special tribute to Jerome J. Lombardo, CEO of C.J. Lombardo Co., for his 15 years of dedicated service as Chairman of the alliance. Guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner, a special presentation and the music of the McGill Trio.
"As exciting new development comes into Hackensack and the downtown, specifically Main Street transforms, it is important to celebrate the milestones we have achieved to this point as well as the bright future ahead," said Patrice Foresman, Executive Director MSBA.
The MSBA, a public/private partnership, was formed as an alliance between the business community and the City of Hackensack in order to address the issues facing the business community. With the goal of improving the local economy and the overall business climate in Hackensack, the MSBA focuses on issues such as retail recruitment, an ambitious Clean and Green program, a Creative Arts/Living Art initiative as well as marketing and special events. The MAIN Festival held earlier this month drew 1200 visitors! There are also programs for a street scape re-imaging of Main Street, visual improvement for facades and signage and vehicle and pedestrian circulation/parking.
Tickets can be purchased for $125 by calling the MSBA office at 201-498-1690.
