HACKENSACK, NJ – The Hackensack Regional Chamber of Commerce, Hackensack Main Street Business Alliance and Fairleigh Dickinson University are partnering up to encourage the campus community to shop and dine locally.
The three entities are in the process of creating a discount program with local business and vendors that would be accessible to students and faculty, according to an announcement by the Hackensack Main Street Business Alliance.
More than 6,000 students are enrolled at the school's local campus, which straddles the Teaneck-Hackensack border.
According to the business alliance, a list of participating businesses and available discounts will be finalized and distributed at student orientation later this month. The information will also be available at the student union, as well as online at FDU.edu.
Any businesses that are interested in joining the program should contact the Hackensack Regional Chamber of Commerce at 201-489-3700 or email@example.com.
