NEW YORK, NY - Snow may be in the forecast this week, but according to the National Weather Service (NWS), very little accumulation is expected. The big news this week is the cold. Daytime temperatures are expected to stay below freezing all week, with night time temperatures in the single digits. 

For Tuesday night, the NWS forecast has a 100% chance of precipitation. mainly in the form of rain. There is a possibility of snow with little or no acculumulation.  The temperature is expected to be in the low 20s.

For Wednesday, expect scattered snow showers before 1 p.m. then sunny skies. Temperatures will remain well below freezing. Wednesday night temperatures will be in the single digits.

On Thursday, expect sun during the day, and a high of about 15, single digits again for Thursday night. Friday is expected to be sunny with a high in the mid 20's during the day, and teens at night. Saturday's forecast will be nearly identical to Thursday and Friday.

For game day on Sunday, temperatures are expected to rise to the mid-40's with sunny skies.
