On September 24, 25 and 26, the State of New Jersey is providing free Naloxone at participating pharmacies. Naloxone can reverse opioid overdoses. No individual prescription is needed. No name, payment or insurance is required. Naloxone will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis locally at Stop And Shop Pharmacy in Hackensack, located at 380 West Pleasantview Avenue.

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella will be at Levy’s Pharmacy, 299 Stuyvesant Ave. in Lyndhurst on Thursday, September 24 at 10 a.m. and will be available to answer questions regarding the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office’s community partnerships and initiatives focused on ending opioid overdoses and fatalities.
