HACKENSACK, NJ – After an 11-month investigation, authorities arrested three men in connection with a series of robberies around Bergen County over the last year.

Jabri Moore, 21, of Cliffside Park, Jamaris Gray, 20, of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Jaylen Nichols, 19, of the Bronx  and a 17-year-old were taken into custody last week

In September 2018, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations Squad began investigating several robberies in and around Bergen County and narrowed the suspects down to four men who identified themselves as the “TNT” gang, Musella said.

The TNT gang– which stands for “They Never Thought” – was known for wearing Rolex watches that they would forcibly remove from their victims, along with seizing cash and other personal items, the prosecutor said. In at least one instances, they physically assaulted their victims, the prosecutor added.

On July 10, the prosecutor’s office and the NYPD Bronx Gang Unit arrested Nichols in the Bronx. Moore was taken into custody the same day by the prosecutor’s office and the Harrison Police Department in Harrison. 

Gray was tracked down in Palm Coast, Fla. by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office on July 12. 

Both Gray and Nichols have waived extradition to New Jersey and the juvenile wound up surrendering to authorities, Musella said.

Moore was charged for:

  • A Sept. 24, 2018 robbery in Englewood Cliffs (second degree robbery, second degree conspiracy to commit robbery
  • An Oct. 27, 2019 armed robbery in Cliffside Park (first degree armed robbery, first degree conspiracy to commit armed robbery)
  • A June 17, 2019 robbery in Paramus (second degree robbery, first degree use of a 17-year-old or younger to commit crime, second degree conspiracy to commit robbery)

Gray was charged for

  • A Sept. 24, 2018 robbery in Englewood Cliffs (second degree robbery, second degree conspiracy to commit robbery)
  • An Oct. 27, 2018 armed robbery in Cliffside Park (first degree armed robbery, first degree conspiracy to commit armed robbery)
  • A June 17, 2019 robbery in Paramus (second degree robbery, first degree use of a 17-year-old or younger to commit crime, second degree conspiracy to commit robbery)

Nichols was charged for

  • A June 17, 2019 robbery in Paramus (second degree robbery, first degree use of a 17 year old or younger to commit crime, second degree conspiracy to commit crime)

The juvenile was charged for:

  • A June 17, 2019 robbery in Paramus (second degree robbery, second degree conspiracy to commit robbery)
