HACKENSACK, NJ -- At Monday night’s City Council meeting, five Hackensack police officers were promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Mayor Labrosse swore in Anthony Natale, Anthony DiPersia, James Smith, Gergory Zisa and Ryan Weber, with their families on hand.
“I would like to congratulate Lieutenants Natale, DiPersia, Smith, Zisa and Weber on their much deserved promotions. I wish them luck moving forward, and I am confident they will continue to put our residents’ safety and comfort above all else as they go about doing their jobs,” said Mayor John Labrosse.
“I feel they are an asset to the department and will be instrumental in shaping our department moving forward. I want to congratulate them for the hard work they put in to put themselves in the position to get promoted,” said Captain Peter Busciglio. “I also want to thank the City Manager, Mayor Labrosse and the Council for making the promotions possible and for their continued support.”
Dozens of members of the HPD were on hand to support their new Lieutenants. The promotion ceremony took place at the beginning of the 8:00pm Council meeting Monday night.
