HACKENSACK, N.J. -- A 37-year-old South Hackensack man is facing a child abuse charge.
According to a news release from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, South Hackensack’s Wilson Guaman, a married driver, was arrested on September 11 following a tip police received that Guaman had physically assaulted a child under 13 while in the city. The matter was investigated by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the South Hackensack Police Department. He was charged with one count of child abuse, a fourth degree crime.
He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
