HACKENSACK, NJ - A 65-year-old North Haledon man was taken to the hospital late Monday morning after falling off scaffolding set up outside of a Hackensack apartment building, authorities said.
Around 11:30 a.m., the man was plastering the parking garage located at 240 Prospect Avenue when he lost his balance and fell six feet onto the parking lot, Police Capt. Darrin DeWitt said.
His injuries were minor, the captain said.
"He was conscious and alert, but had shoulder pain and was transported by ambulance to HackensackUMC," DeWitt said.
