HAMILTON, NJ - An imitation explosive device brought members of the New Jersey State Police Bomb Unit and a Mercer County Sheriff’s Bomb Detection Dog to a Hamilton home on Thursday.

According to Detective Joseph C Wilk, the owner of the S. Olden Street residence shared a picture of the device found in their tenant’s bedroom with members of the Hamilton Police Department.

The device, determined to not be real, was removed from the home. No arrests were made in the afternoon incident.
