TRENTON, NJ -- A Trenton family is mourning today after the death of two of their youngest members.  Johnny Perez, 8, and his brother Gustavo Perez, 16, were shot and killed Tuesday night while inside a residence. 

According to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri, the Perez brothers were struck and killed when shots were fired into the second floor of a residence in the 200 block of Mulberry Street in Trenton. 

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. on October 20. Currently, there is no suspect information at this time and no motive for the murders.
