HAMILTON, NJ -- Hamilton Township School District is looking for substitute teachers to step in for those who may be out for a sick day or for a few months on an extended leave of absence.   The school district is looking for both short-term and long-term substitute teachers.  In-person teaching is anticipated to resume in Hamilton Township around October 13.

The positions offer flexibility of working days, a rewarding experience to work with students and faculty, and networking opportunities.

Substitute teachers can choose the days they want to work or commit to a schedule; choice is available.  They also can choose the school they want to work in.

In order to be hired, an applicant needs a minimum of 60 college credits and a county substitute certificate or a NJ teaching certificate.  Retirees are welcome to apply as well.
