TRENTON, NJ -- Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes recently announced a virtual business series for the Mercer County business community. Titled the Business Survival Series, and hosted by the UCEDC, a non-profit economic development corporation, the four-part webinar series will look to guide businesses in overcoming the pandemic difficulties.
Each individual Thursday morning webinar, will cover:
Business Reassessment (April 22) -- Small businesses should have a plan to enhance their customer experience, as well as their customer-focused strategies coming out of a crisis. This workshop reemphasizes the fundamentals of business ownership, with a focus on refreshing the business plan for sustainability.
Marketing Strategy (April 29) -- This workshop will review the basic principles of marketing strategy, and the application of the “4Ps of marketing,” SWOT analysis, target marketing, as well as assist in making effective local advertising choices.
Basic Financial Statements/Profitability (May 6) -- Understanding your financial statements is fundamental for maintaining your business profitability. This workshop focuses on the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement and Cash Flow Statement to determine what changes may be required to maintain profitability.
Projecting Financial Results (May 13) -- Projecting financial results is critical for your business financial sustainable. This workshop emphasizes the importance of effectively projecting sales, expenses and cash flow to monitor the health of the business.
Each session will be held between 10:30am and 12 noon.
