TRENTON, NJ -- The Mercer County Improvement Authority (MCIA) has announced is semi-annual free paper shredding events the held shred those pounds of paper stacked up around the house.  The free events are held so that residents can safely dispose of papers and documents, particularly those items with sensitive information.

The two events will be held on Saturday, April 10 and Satruday, October, 9 in the parking lot of the Mercer County Administration Building located at 641 South Broad Street in Trenton between 9:00 a.m. and end at noon, or until the shred trucks are full. It will be held rain or shine. 

There is a shred limit of eight boxes or eight box per person. Commercial documents and household chemicals will not be accepted.
