ROBBINSVILLE, NJ -- In an effort to encourage Robbinsville residents support the local businesses that have been closed or limited for months during the coronavirus pandemic, local officials have launched Robbinsville's Open for Business program that rewards customers and clients of local retail, heath care, and professional, customer and commercial services.
Under the program that launches on July 1, Robbinsville residents who spend $20 at five unique township-based businesses can earn a $20 gift card and a chance to win a $500 grand prize. A resident can obtain the $20 gift card for each set of unique businesses, meaning no repeat locations can be submitted.
The purchases can include, but are not limited to, retail purchases, co-payments at health care providers, invoices from professional services, and program enrollment fees.
Participants are required to complete the proof of submission form FOUND HERE and return it with applicable receipts to the Robbinsville Municipal Building located at 2298 Route 33 in Robbinsville.
Saying that Township is looking "to see what we can do to help local businesses," Robbinsville Mayor Dave Fried added they are also considering "best practices" that businesses can share amongst each other just as regional elected officials have done during the coronavirus pandemic.
