HAMILTON, NJ -- Hamilton Township Police announced on Friday that three individuals have been arrested in connection with a Wednesday night robbery of a convenience store. The robbery took place at approximately 11:57 p.m. at the 7-Eleven located at 559 Lalor Street.
As reported by police, a male wearing a mask with a hooded sweatshirted pulled over his head entered the 7-Eleven, at which point the clerk, seeing the male enter with the mask, ran into the office and locked the door believing he was being robbed. The suspect is said to have gone behind the counter, take two cash drawers, and flee the store.
Responding police units spotted a vehicle in the area going the wrong way down a one way street causing them to conduct a motor vehicle stop. During the stop one of the passengers exited the vehicle and fled on foot.
The male, identified as Laquan Bradford, Trenton, was located a short time later and placed under arrest. The two passengers in the vehicle, Jaleel Dunn, also of Trenton, and James Hendryx, Hamilton, were also arrested.
Bradford was charged with robbery, resisting arrest, obstructing, and trespassing. Dunn and Hendryx were charged as accomplices to robbery.
