ROBBINSVILLE, NJ -- Mark your calendars for the return of three of Robbinsville's most popular community events. The Township recently announced the dates for the C.A.R.E Fishing Derby, Community Day, and the State of the Township - Pay it Forward event.
The events were unfortunately canceled in 2020 during the height of the coronavirus pandemic in an effort to protect community residents from spreading the virus.
The C.A.R.E Fishing Derby will be held on its normal Saturday of Father's Day weekend which will be June 19 around Town Center Lake.
The Community Day Festival, which typically draws thousands of visitors, will be held on Saturday, September 18. Usually held on the second Saturday in June, this year's event has been pushed later in the year to allow more time for the pandemic to subside.
The annual State of the Township - Pay it Forward event also has been pushed to later in the year out of caution. This year, it will be held on Tuesday, October 5. The event provides an opportunity to update the community on Township activity and highlights members of the community.
Last year, Mayor Fried delivered his State of the Township address remotely to the community.
Specific details about each of these events will be forthcoming as they are closer.
