ROBBINSVILLE, NJ -- The Robbinsville Office of Emergency Management issued an update Monday afternoon after an earlier road closure alert warning motorists to avoid Meadowbrook Road.

The road will now be closed from Tindall Road to Robbinsville-Edinburg Road (Route 526) until "at least  midnight"  for emergency pole and electric repair.   Earlier on Monday a part of the road was initially closed as a result of a morning motor vehicle accident.  A utility pole and wires are down because of the accident. Only local traffic will be allowed during the closure.

TAPinto Hamilton/Robbinsville will update the story as details become available or when the road reopens.
