HAMILTON, NJ -- The State of New Jersey is letting people across the state know what locals have known for years - the Kuser Farm Mansion & Park is a go-to place to visit!. Recently, Hamilton’s Kuser Farm Mansion & Park was listed in the 2021 New Jersey Official Travel Guide as a place to visit in their “Getaways from A-Z” article.
The Mansion in the centerpiece of Kuser Farm Park located at 390 Newkirk Avenue in Hamilton.
It is on the grounds of the Kuser Family’s Summer Home built by Fred Kuser in 1892. With 22 sprawling acres including a playground and walking trails, the park and mansion alike are a sight to behold.
In 1976, Hamilton Township purchased the property from the Kuser Family through the State's Green Acres preservation program. Kuser Mansion has served as a house museum featuring guided tours, numerous educational programs, Movie Nite and Winter Wonderland Christmas Tours since 1979.
During the 2020 holiday season, Kuser Mansion was ornately decorated and featured during "Hamilton's Holidays in the Park" drive through light extravaganza.
While tours of the home are currently on hold due to COVID-19, CLICK HERE for a video tour of the home. The Township hopes to be able to invite guests back inside the Queen Anne-style “Country Home” of the Kusers’ soon.
