ROBBINSVILLE, NJ -- Hundreds of local residents soaked up the sun and fun at the annual Robbinsville Community Day held at Community Park Saturday.

While live music played from the main stage, festival attendees enjoyed games, contests, bounce castles, food trucks, a children's train, and pony rides.  Many strolled through "Prize Alley" which featured dozens of local businesses from health care providers to banks to realtors as well as a variety of volunteer community groups and religious organizations. 

Officials from Township departments such as the senior center and public works also were on hand to talk about services for Robbinsville residents.   The Robbinsville Police Department and Fire Department, which gave out free carbon monoxide detectors, were on hand to greet the community.

The afternoon was highlighted by the chocolate eating contest which was back by popular demand.   Nightime activities included the presentation of the Joe Barker volunteer award to Dave Doran and band performances to entertain the crowd. 

The grand finale Fireworks will capped of the festivities as the day turned into night.
