HAMILTON, NJ -- A rainy Sunday weather forecast for the second week in a row has caused the permanent cancellation of Hamilton’s Oktoberfest.   The festivities were already postponed from last weekend.  However, the Township stated the the event would be canceled "due to the high probability of inclement weather forecasted for Sunday, October 27, 2019."

In the announcement, the Township further said that it would be "unfeasible" to make further postponements since "vendors and entertainment-related components of Oktoberfest typically commit to numerous events and festivals throughout the year - well in advance of scheduled dates."
