HAMILTON, NJ --   Hamilton Township Police are asking for members of the public to step forward with information about an accident that left an 88-year-old woman hospitalized with serious injuries.   The Hamilton Township woman was struck by a motor vehicle as she walked in the parking lot at Foley's Shopping Center on Whitehorse-Mercerville Road. 

According to the Hamilton Township Police Department, on July 14 at approximately 11:38 am Robert Kopen, an 82 year-old man from Hamilton, was traveling through the Foley's parking lot when he struck the female pedestrian.  He was driving a 2014 Toyota Camry at the time. 

The woman, who has not been publicly identified, was taken by ambulance to Capital Health Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
