HAMILTON, NJ  -- The Hamilton Township School District will officially celebrate the Class of 2020 in a few short weeks.  On Monday, the School District announced that an in-person graduation will be held on Wednesday, July 29 with a rain date of July 30.

The graduation festivities will be held at the Trenton Thunder Stadium at Arm and Hammer Park in Trenton.  Each of Hamilton's three high schools -- Steinert High School, Hamilton High School West and Nottingham High School -- will have their own ceremony.  

During the graduation, the Class of 2020 will be seated on the field with their family and guests in the stands. Each graduate will receive four tickets for their guests.

The School District said they are in the process of developing a seating chart for the crowd to keep with social distancing and health requirements such as face coverings.  

In the announcement, the School District said that "We hope that having a graduation on the field at Thunder Stadium will give our students and families a positive and memorable graduation experience that they will always remember."
